We offer the acute care our patients require for their recovery without being in a hospital setting.Our Wegman Family Cottages embraces a new approach to traditional skilled nursing care, the Green House model. Each of our four ranch-style cottage homes has 20 private rooms, with private baths. The environment in the cottages is inviting and comforting for residents and offers a setting much like home health care but in one location.STATUS: Full TimeLOCATION: Park Ridge Living CenterDEPARTMENT: Long Term CareSCHEDULE:ATTRIBUTESOne (1) year of nursing experience required, Post-Acute nursing experience preferredOne (1) year of supervisory experience preferredExceptional documentation, communication and interpersonal skillsRESPONSIBILITIES Unit Management. Oversee and assure short-and long-term Nursing Department staff schedules; serve as a clinical resource to staff in problem solving, assessment and special procedures; coordinate with the Nursing Staff resident units and admissions department in the rapid admission of residentsSupervision Oversees the dining areas, interacting with residents, families and staff in providing a safe, pleasant mealtime and assure appropriate completion of required recordsPatient Care. Facilitate units in emergency medical assessment and care of residents, including interventions, transportation and other resources as neededPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)PAY RANGE: $40.56 - $53.30The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants.
