Description We are offering an opportunity for a Credit Risk Representative I in Rochester, New York. The hours are 11am-8pm Monday - Friday. This role is instrumental in our industry, focusing on managing credit risk and ensuring the financial stability of our operations. The position entails processing high-risk transactions, evaluating fraud and credit risk, managing customer portfolios, and providing high-quality customer service. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Collaborate with external banking partners to validate banking information and guarantee fund availability for credit transactions. Handle wire transfers for high liability and high-risk transactions. Evaluate and authenticate fraud and credit risk for incoming customers across all business lines using authentication tools and credit data. Determine credit lines for customers. Manage a portfolio of customers, monitoring credit, bankruptcy identifications, cash flow issues, and negative news. Respond to inbound call requirements and make outbound calls to assist with customer inquiries, problem resolution, and to collect necessary information for risk assessments. Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of regulatory changes, policy changes, and industry and economic developments. Demonstrate a high level of customer service. Act with uncompromising integrity, supporting each other, and delivering on commitments. Drive innovation in our products and services and continually improve our processes. Requirements Proficiency in customer service, displaying excellent interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of banking policies and regulations Experience in handling inbound and outbound calls in a detail oriented manner Ability to effectively manage time and multitask Understanding of credit risk management and risk assessment principles Proficiency in using monitoring tools to track and report on credit-related activities Ability to collaborate effectively with partners and stakeholders Experience in cash flow analysis and understanding of liability concepts Track record of innovative problem resolution in the banking sector Knowledge of bankruptcy procedures and wire transfer processes Familiarity with authentication processes and procedures Experience with Paychex software and other banking operation systems Ability to manage and monitor credit lines effectively Commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
