Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Engagement Coordinator in the Non-Profit sector based in Rochester, New York. The focus of this role is to foster community engagement and participation in our young adult reentry partnership program. This involves both inbound and outbound communication, liaising with community partners, and enrolling participants in the program.Responsibilities: Establish and maintain communication channels with community partners via phone calls and emails Enroll participants into the young adult reentry partnership program Collaborate with the program manager to strategize and execute outreach initiatives Travel within the city of Binghamton, Broome county, Johnson city, Endicott areas for community engagement activities Utilize customer service skills to address and resolve inquiries from community partners and program participants Monitor participant accounts and take necessary actions based on their status and needs Maintain a comprehensive and accurate record of all customer credit applications Ensure the efficient processing of customer credit applications Uphold the organization's mission and values in all outreach and engagement activities. Requirements Must hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations Proven experience in an engagement or customer service role, preferably in the non-profit sector Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of the non-profit sector and experience working with volunteers would be beneficial Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work outside of standard office hours when necessary Demonstrated commitment to the values and mission of the non-profit sector.
