If so, apply today!Summary / Objective :The Folder / Gluer Operator will ensure the highest level of productivity is consistently achieved while operating printing machinery.B-Shift schedule (3 : 30pm - 12 : 00am)Essential Functions :Set up, operation, and overseeing of machineryFeed material into machine – check quality, glue, score, and position often.Have helper assist by collecting folded material, check quality and position and pack.Apply case label if needed.Complete load tag.Ability to complete departmental procedures – i.e. - bindery tickets, inventory sheets, and job trackingResponsibility to breakdown, clean, and maintain folder / gluer machine.Physical Demands :Regularly required to talk or hear.Regularly required to sit, regular use of hands.Frequently required to stand and walk.Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and use foot / feet to operate machine.Occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.The employee must be able to work under pressure with ever changing deadlines and priorities.Requirements / Qualifications :1-3 years of experience in a Manufacturing settingPrinting and / or packaging experience highly preferredPreferred Education and Experience :A two-year degree or equivalent from a technical schoolTwo (2) years of work experience or an equivalent of four (4) years in the industryAAP / EEO StatementFlower City Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
