ResponsibilitiesExciting opportunity to work in a fast paced, state-of-the art environment providing specialized patient care to pediatric and adult inpatient and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures (biopsies, embolization’s, ablations, angiography, drain placements and other image guided procedures)! This role includes preparing patients, intra-procedure monitoring and post procedure recovery including PACU and extended stay (23-hour). IR is an essential part of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients. This role requires critical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced/team-oriented environment. The IR RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient centered care. New grads welcome! ACLS and PALS required within 1 year.Qualifications Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing.Level IApplicants will have less than 6-12 months of RN experience.Level IIApplicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience.
