ResponsibilitiesIndividual will work as a member of the Center for Nursing Quality, Safety, and Patient Outcomes team to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes. Utilizing professional judgement and experience will be accountable for the monitoring of patient outcomes, and development of risk reduction strategies designed to enhance evidence-based practice measures. Position will involve working as a member of interdisciplinary teams dedicated to utilizing meaningful data to develop practice and educational guidelines to improve patient care. Includes management of the Nursing NDNQI Database and facilitating Root Cause Analyses. Position includes working collaboratively with pharmacy to promote safe handling of controlled substances. Other duties as assigned that are supportive of patient care outcomes. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to prioritize and work as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including some leadership experience. Master’s Degree required. Requirements: NYS RN License, master’s degree plus 3-5 years nursing experience. Leadership and managerial experience preferred.Qualifications Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field required. Three years of RN experience in acute care setting required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Recent clinical educational expertise in a specialty area required. Registered Nurse with current New York State license required. Full/Part Time:

Schedule: FT position available (40 Hour), Primarily Days with some regional travel as needed.
