For this Rochester, New York United States-based position, the expected base salary is $78,000-$110,000. Pike is currently seeking experienced building construction Project Superintendents to join our growing team in both the non-residential and multifamily residential markets. Creating the master schedule and leads the effort to maintain and ensure that the project moves along as scheduled; ensure materials, labor, equipment, and job sites are ready when needed and contact vendors and subcontractors to ensure on time delivery of goods and services

Provides motivation and enthusiasm to create a safe, cooperative, and productive environment

Completing daily written reports, RFI’s, change orders, weekly reports and submittals as well as communicating any change or questions to the architect

Works closely with the project team leadership to watch all costs under their responsibility and be able to explain any budget anomalies

Consulted in the buyout process (bidding from subcontractors/vendors); provides input and opinions to the Project Team on appropriate subcontractors and on scopes of work to be performed.

Education/Experience:

At least 10 years of experience working as a Project Superintendent in either steel frame or wood frame construction.

Worked on several projects successfully from start to finish; or equivalent service work, required.

Knowledge:

Familiar with various field trade role(s), required.

Understanding of scheduling, design specifications, document and drawings, required.

Comprehension of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical roles, required.

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, required.

The base salary range for this position is $78,000 - $110,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
