Common services provided in the MICU include advanced airway management with ventilator support, insertion and maintenance of chest tubes and central lines, titratiable IV medications/infusions, telemetry, invasive monitoring, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), therapeutic devices (intra-aortic balloon pump, Impella), and ECMO (advanced life support - extracorporeal membrane oxygenation).STATUS: Full TimeLOCATION: Rochester General Hospital DEPARTMENT: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)SCHEDULE: Day/Evening/Night, every other Weekend/HolidayATTRIBUTESCompassionate, warm and patient focusedCritical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervisionExceptional documentation skills and professional behaviorAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentRESPONSIBILITIES Patient Satisfaction.
