Our list of satisfied clients and #ROCstar employees are both rapidly growing— Are you next to join our team?Sr. Project Manager (Agile) oversees all aspects of a project or engagement to ensure it is completed on-time, within scope and within budget. Will be responsible for managing scope, cost, schedule, stakeholders, and contractual deliverables. Develops detailed project plans and monitors project milestones and will generate and present periodic status reports. Evaluates and manages risk while incorporating quality measures and standards to project deliverables. In this role, you should have excellent knowledge of the scrum framework, with all its artifacts and techniques.Essential Functions

Responsible for developing an on-going relationship with customer stakeholders as the primary contact to ensure project status and deliverables are communicated and accomplished.

Develops a deep understanding of the body of work, partners with the team and project stakeholders to elaborate clear solution requirements.

Manage each initiative’s scope, timeline, and cost with a focus on delivering excellence to our customers.

Partners with the project stakeholders to translate high-level deliverables into actionable product plans and to work towards long-term product goals in support of product roadmaps and release planning.

Maintains a strong partnership with engineering teams to provide status of project delivery to customer stakeholders.

Demonstrates the ability to use graphical representation to augment textual requirements such as diagrams, models, workflow diagrams, and story maps.

Work with Business Analysts and Engineering Leads to ensure a well-groomed, ready, and prioritized product backlog that aligns with project requirements.

Will facilitate internal and external discussion, decision making and conflict resolution while maintaining a trusting, open, and safe environment.

Requirements

AS or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related areas preferred, but not required

At least three years of experience with Cloud migrations and/or cloud managed services

Strong project management skills and experience with multiple types of project styles (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)

Strong analysis, critical-thinking capabilities, and problem-solving skills

Strong focus on exceptional client service

Strong skills in managing multiple projects with ability to prioritize, organize, and maintain details

Aptitude and desire to work in a highly collaborative, self-organizing, team environment

Licenses and Certifications (Preferred)

The band range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, education, experience, training, certifications, internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at, or near, the top of the range for their role; and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range for this role is $90,000 - $140,000. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor, or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
