We are looking for people to dishwash. This is a wine bar and event space, but not a traditional restaurant with a hot line.
We are looking for coverage on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, as well as some Saturday afternoons and some Sunday days. The evening shifts generally begin at 6 pm and go until you are finished which is usually around 10 pm. Occasionally when we have an evening event, especially on the weekends, the shift may run a little later. If anyone has any daytime flexibility that would be good too as we sometimes have weekday events as well.
The job entails the usual tasks of washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils etc. (all in the machine) as well as putting away. Also, you will be responsible for the closing tasks: sweep, mop, take out garbage and recycling.
You should be able to go up and down stairs with bus tubs, to and from the wine bar on some of the shifts.
This is a fairly easy part-time job for someone as we are not a typical restaurant set-up.
Experience is great but not necessary as we can train you.
