We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of cooking techniques and food safety practices
Responsibilities
Prepare and chop ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
Use advanced cooking and prep techniques (Meat & Fish fabrication required)
Advanced recipe following
Use efficient time management techniques to maximize prep time
Support chefs and kitchen staff with meal preparation tasks as needed.
Assist with catering events by preparing large quantities of food while adhering to dietary requirements.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other tools.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Skills
Proficient knife skills for efficient food preparation.
Proficient knowledge of advanced cooking techniques
