Alta Bella Casa, Inc. is a custom home builder & remodeler in Rochester, NY with a niche market offing of basement egress windows (JustEgress.com) servicing Western, NY. Alta Bella gets involved in new residential home construction, rehab & flips, structural repairs, drainage/site work projects egress windows/doors, and is uniquely suited to assist in any and all construction related projects. Our consultative, full service, “family first” approach to our customer relationships, methodical work practices, and low/no costs of warrantee has made us a benchmark in the residential marketplace.
We are currently experiencing significant growth and are looking to add one or possibly even two people to our team as soon as possible. We are literally having to turn down work because we can't keep up with demand! Ideally we are seeking a multi-trade construction technician responsible for providing direct labor on customer projects. The individual must be able to function as part of a team, as well as solo. This is a small family run and family-oriented business with direct owner involvement in every job. The ideal candidate will have some basic experience in at least three of the following trades:
Excavation/Site Work
Plumbing
Electrical
Site Equipment (excavators, skid steers, backhoes, etc.)
Masonry
Drywall
Trim
Siding
Equipment/vehicle/small engine maintenance and repair
If you're tired of punching a clock and bored of doing the same thing day after day this may be perfect for you. This is not your typical construction job opportunity. This is a small family owned company and not big corporate America. We look to build lasting relationships with our customers and our workers. We are not looking to churn and burn out employees. We're looking for quality people and would be willing to train the right individual, but previous experience would be preferred. If variety is what you are looking for, you may have a home here.
This candidate is someone who can manage their time, stay on task, and take pride in a job well done. If you’re looking to advance the skills you have in the above areas or have some of the above experience & would like to acquire new skills, then we want to hear from you. Starting pay is based on experience, performance, and overall fit. Entry level candidates with minimal experience should expect $16 to $20 with a performance review after 30 days. Benefits are available to full time employees after a probationary period.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years hands on experience
- Must be able to lift 80lbs repeatedly
- Must be able to work outdoors in all sorts of weather conditions
- Must have reliable transportation, no problems with drugs & pass a background check
- Must be physically fit and have enough endurance to be on your feet most of the day
- Must be able to think on your feet or adapt to unforeseen circumstances as the job unfolds in real time
- Must be customer service oriented and a strong desire to solve problems as they arise
- Must be able to clean up after yourself and respect the property of the homeowner
