Opportunity
In this role, you will be responsible for attending to the maintenance needs of our portfolio while always
representing the company in a professional manner. In addition to the day-to-day service calls, this
person will be responsible for regular preventive maintenance under the direction of the Community
Director, Head of Maintenance and Ownership. The ideal candidate will have maintenance, plumbing
and construction experience and work well as a member of our team. Special consideration will be
given to professionals with general contracting experience.
Responsibilities
Performs general repairs such as drywall, painting, bathroom repairs and other building
maintenance
Cleans and assists with upkeep of facilities
Maintain records concerning time, labor and materials; maintain log of tasks performed and
write reports as required
Completes electrical maintenance work in the installation and alteration of HVAC equipment,
components, timers, motors and wiring systems as needed
Performs plumbing work in the construction, fabrication, install or service of plumbing systems,
equipment, and fixtures
Perform basic landscaping tasks to maintain the appearance of the portfolio
Inspect, repair, modify and install HVAC equipment
Work cooperatively with others
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Routinely lift heavy objects and perform work while standing and/or sitting
Perform other duties as assigned
Maintain regular attendance
Knowledge and Abilities
Materials, methods and tools used in maintenance operations.
Air compressors and controls
Usage of manual and electrical tools and equipment
Basic record-keeping
Proper methods of storing equipment, materials and supplies
Standard practices of HVAC and plumbing trade
Knowledge of flooring & tile application
Maintains friendly, professional relations with all clients and employees, maintains a positive
work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in a positive work
relationship with customers, co-workers and managers
Please Note: We ask that personal cell phone usage be restricted to break times and be held in a
private area outside of the suite.
