Bob Johnson Buick GMC South in Henrietta is seeking to hire A-Level Technicians / Mechanics to perform vehicle repairs and routine service/ maintenance according to their skills and certifications. Team Environment
Responsibilities - Automotive Technician:
Perform quality repair and maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards
Clearly write and communicate needed repairs/maintenance and the parts and time needed to repair
Repair broken or worn mechanical and technology components
Maintain repair and service records
Install equipment, components, and systems
Test vehicles both before and after repair
Repair electrical wiring, circuits, and fixtures
Other duties may be assigned according to expertise and certifications
Qualifications - Automotive Technician:
Automotive repair experience required
A level preferred
Dealership experience is a plus but not a must!
GM experience or certification is a plus!
A positive attitude and good work ethic
Must be versatile in skills and tasks performed
Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, A/C equipment, etc.
Must be analytical with good problem-solving skills
Valid NYS driver's license required
High school diploma or GED
