Job Title: Commercial Pipefitter/Plumber

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Pipefitter/Plumber to join our team in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will specialize in the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems and plumbing fixtures for commercial buildings. This position requires expertise in large-scale systems, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Install & Maintain Systems: Install, assemble, and repair commercial piping systems, including water, steam, gas, and HVAC.
Plumbing Fixtures: Install and maintain commercial-grade plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and backflow prevention devices.
Blueprint & Code Compliance: Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and building codes to ensure proper installation and compliance.
Welding & Fabrication: Perform welding, threading, soldering, and cutting of pipes using specialized tools and equipment.
Safety Adherence: Maintain a safe working environment and follow OSHA, company, and industry safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a pipefitter or plumber, specifically in commercial construction.
Extensive knowledge of commercial piping systems, including HVAC, hydronic, and gas distribution systems.
Ability to read and interpret commercial blueprints and schematics.
Proficiency in using pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other specialized tools.
Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in challenging environments.
Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime and weekend work as required by project deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive pay between $19.09 per hour to $38.18 per hour based on experience.
