Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to designated locations while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively.
Duties
Operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver products along assigned routes.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured and transported safely.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.
Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
Familiarity with forklift operation is beneficial for loading and unloading tasks.
Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in route driving is highly desirable.
Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery records.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively.

Pay: From $150.00 per day
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
