Billing Specialist Department: AccountingLocation: Syracuse, NYSTART YOUR APPLICATION (https://apply.hrmdirect.com/resumedirect/ApplyOnline/Apply.aspx?reqid=2931768&source=2931768-CJB-0) Location: On Site in Syracuse, NY (HQ)Role Summary:We are looking for a talented individual, seeking an entry level role, to join our team as a Billing Specialist. The Billing Specialist is responsible for coordinating with other departments to ensure the accuracy of invoices, apply correct pricing structures, and correspond with clients to resolve any billing related issues.Salary Range: $21.50 to $23.50 per hour (Based on Experience)Responsibilities:

Maintain strong customer service through daily communication with clients

Manage the status of accounts, identify inconsistencies and resolve client billing inquiries

Provide solutions to any billing related concerns of clients

Create and maintain client accounts, including changes in name, address, service and rates

Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data

Prepare and send invoices

Assume the receiving and sorting of incoming payments

Verify billing accounts with accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted

Write comprehensive reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data

Basic Qualifications:

Associate-s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation and report writing

Proficiency of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics

Exceptional problem-solving and multi-tasking skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

COVID-19 Requirements:

Must be fully vaccinated: 2 doses of Pfizer/Moderna or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson, 2 weeks prior or more
