Description Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with a Syracuse client of his that has a new Office Accountant hiring need. This role has very good work life balance and a flexible work schedule. Qualified candidates should be self-driven and organized accounting professionals capable of thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision in this role. What you get to do every day
Catalog sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Report on business license and gross receipts
Provide monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Create cash flow projections, as needed
Enter Accounts Payable
Work on special projects occasionally
Administrate Accounts Receivable
When required, complete cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Requirements
Strong communication and social skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
QuickBooks experience is an asset
