We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Component Engineer to join our leading electronics company, which specializes in the design and manufacture of satellite communication systems for the aerospace, space, and defense industries. We are dedicated to innovation and excellence, with over 200 engineers and manufacturing personnel.Job Description:
Translating program requirements into screening documents for all EEE parts.
Developing Source Control Drawings (SCDs) for EEE parts with part screening codes.
Coordinating SCD reviews and approvals with customers and suppliers.
Providing Sales/Marketing with EEE parts reviews for cost estimates and compliance matrices.
Reviewing parts lists for prohibited parts and ensuring correct parts with screening codes.
Generating Program Approved Parts Lists (PAPLs) and Non-Standard Parts Approvals (NSPARs).
Reviewing supplier documentation for completeness to SCD requirements, including travelers and test procedures.
Reviewing incoming inspection documentation on shipments from suppliers.
Entering incoming inspection information into MS Access database or PLM.
Generating Discrepant Material Reports when necessary and resolving issues.
Reviewing parts for selected parameters, electrical, and Date Code as specified by the customer or Engineering.
Filing and managing part folders or PLM.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
5+ years of experience in EEE parts and SCDs.
Fully versed in EEE and SCD.

Overtime Opportunities: Candidates can expect to work 5-20 hours of overtime, paid at a rate of 1.5%.
9/80 Work Weeks: Employees complete 80 hours of work in 9 days and have every other Friday off, providing a three-day weekend every other week.
Convenient Location: Our company is located near public transportation.
Working Hours: 7:30am-5:15pm, every other Friday off.
