Our GuideMe platform is the digital planning ecosystem that helps our agents bring this approach to life – designed to modernize our agents’ case design and presentation abilities to meet the evolving expectations of modern consumers.As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for playing a key role in training, communication and adoption of changes to this tool. You will also work closely with the GuideMe Strategy Team to identify, create and execute strategies that enhance the field experience with this digital tool.What You'll Do:
Specials Projects Lead / Coordinating projects / work efforts across teams
Project plan deliverables and action plan coordination with team leads
Assessing internal and external data to identify and quantify new market opportunities
Identify procedural inefficiencies and opportunities for program optimization
Serve as liaison / SME for field agents and field managers
Serve as liaison / SME for cross-functional and cross-value stream efforts
Serve as team SME on planning tools to support ad hoc projects or requests from Senior Leaders
Provide support and guidance to GO staff and agents through zone efforts to increase agent productivity
Lead the planning and execution of special projects and cross-functional initiatives to drive strategic program implementation.
Provide a voice for field agents and field managers to consult tool development and process
Create clear, concise, and visually engaging PowerPoint presentations that synthesize complex information for diverse audiences.
Ensure consistency and alignment of tools, resources, and program development across teams.
Develop compelling narratives to effectively communicate the team’s strategies, initiatives, and progress to various stakeholders and Field Operatives.
Facilitate effective stakeholder engagement and communication by organizing regular update meetings and progress reports to promote alignment and transparency across all organizational levels.
Assess and identify resource requirements, develop standard operating procedures, and uncover alignment gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Conduct comprehensive research to analyze market dynamics, competitor strategies, and industry trends, providing insights to inform decision-making.
Inspire and influence cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and alignment towards shared strategic goals.
Design and implement change management strategies to support the adoption of new processes, tools, and initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and maximizing stakeholder buy-in.
What You'll Bring:
3+ years of experience in a business strategy, consulting, and/or marketing planning role, with a deep understanding of the agency distribution model and strong project management skills.
Bachelor's degree in project management, data analysis (preferred)
Excellent understanding of New York Life products, the field sales process, and the role of critical selling skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel, Word, and Vizio plus project management tools.
Mastery of Excel functions, formulas, and features, including but not limited to VLOOKUP, PivotTables, PivotCharts, Data Validation, Conditional Formatting, and advanced charting techniques.
Data sourcing from Tableau and Sales Force.
