As a Procurement Manager in Offshore Wind, you will have a significant impact on Vattenfall realizing its transition to a more sustainable energy portfolio by securing the necessary  works and services at best value for the company. You will be engaging with the supply chain to define procurement strategies as well as identify innovative market approaches to maximize the company’s profitability. You will work in an environment where you deal with executives internally and externally to drive value from Vattenfall’s’ supply chain for the business. 

What will you do? 

The Procurement Manager role is accountable for and leads the procurement initiatives within the categories (LOG, O&M). The Procurement Manager is accountable for the full procurement process from setting the Procurement Strategy to Preferred Supplier Selection and Contract Award including all milestones in between.Key ResponsibilitiesRun, lead and steer compliant procurement processes for the category scopes for a project or bundle of projects during project delivery. The delivery of the Procurement Manager consists of delivering full procurement processes from setting the strategy to delivering a signed contract to the project(s) and the Procurement Manager is in charge of the ‘project management’ of such process ensuring support from all relevant input providers and stakeholders.The Procurement Manager is the interface and SPOC (single-point-of-contact) towards the suppliers during the procurement process.The Procurement Manager is the lead negotiator during the procurement process and must collect input from all relevant stakeholders.Develop suitable procurement strategies for the specific initiatives as well as further develop the supply chain within specific procurement categories.Develop all procurement material, including tailor-making of contracts to fit the project needs and ITT material as well as all governance material for procurement governance. The Procurement Manager is specifically responsible for Part 1 (ITT material) and Part 2 (Conditions of Contract) of the contracts, where the technical counterpart is responsible for Part 3 (Employer’s Requirements).Strong stakeholder management demonstrating the ability to action decisions according to business protocol and to justify decision making for business mutual benefit.   Set the best-in-class procurement strategies in accordance with the category strategies and select the most suitable suppliers for the projects based on the objective criteria of: transparency, equal treatment and fair competition.Steer the core tender teams during the procurement process.Location
