Project Manager

20+ year Small Construction related company in the high end home market looking for a person that can be Project Manager /Admin Assistant/Book Keeper to come aboard and help out in a full time position. (sorry not a remote job). Located near the Biltmore Village.

The duties of the may include, but are not limited to the following:

1) Project Manager. (Organizing the team, making sure the project is on time, changing invoice and pricing of a project.

2) Pricing in changes for work orders, keeping track of project expenses.

3) Bank account/CC reconciliation

4) Sales pricing and client services. Go to client houses to inspect work.

5) Collecting checks and entering the deposits into Accounting Software and printing/sending checks. Paying bills.

6) Maintain confidentiality of all business financial information.

7.) Filing and organizing documents. Attention to detail and used to fast work environment.

8) Be able to work at the office in Asheville during office hours. Schedule is flexible. (near Biltmore village).

9) Extra tasks might include scheduling and/or assisting the owner in office related jobs and errands.

As a small family company, hours are flexible and room for growth. Training will be available and being a fast learner will help.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 years of Experience in similar work. (other industry acceptable, new accounting grads also acceptable.)

Experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, payroll reports, job costing, payroll & sales tax processing. Training will be provided on the day to day and the accounting software but general idea of business accounting is needed.

Experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, (normal office apps etc).

Experience in services related to payroll.

Basic understanding of business and income tax reporting, job costs and financial statements.

Attention to detail, organized and professional demeanor.

Due to the nature of the job, this is an in office position only.

(Not a Remote Job).
