The Business Analyst will serve as a critical bridge between business strategy and technology execution. This role translates strategic business objectives into actionable business requirements, gathers and synthesizes input from cross-functional partners across Marketing, Operations, Product, Sales, and Customer Experience, and ensures alignment through the full project lifecycle—from concept and design through IT development, testing, and deployment.The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and communication skills with a deep understanding of marketing processes, business requirements management, and agile delivery frameworks. This individual ensures that IT solutions effectively meet business needs, improve efficiency, and drive measurable impact.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Requirements DefinitionPartner with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into clear, measurable business requirementsLead the end-to-end business requirements process—facilitating workshops, interviews, and documentation with Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Product teamsDevelop and maintain business requirement documents (BRDs) and process flows to inform IT developmentEnsure alignment between business needs and platform capabilities across multiple systems (CRM, MarTech, analytics, etc.)Identify business process gaps and recommend process improvements or automation opportunitiesCollaboration with IT & Platform TeamsPartner with Platform Owners and Product Managers to translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira or equivalent toolsLead backlog grooming and prioritization sessions with IT, ensuring readiness for sprints and releasesCollaborate with developers and QA testers to validate functionality against requirements and acceptance criteriaSupport issue resolution, defect triage, and clarification throughout development and testingParticipate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure business alignment throughout the development lifecycleCross-Functional Communication & GovernanceServe as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure transparency, alignment, and timely decision-makingCommunicate project progress, risks, and issues to business and IT stakeholders through structured updates and governance meetingsSupport project governance documentation, approvals, and change management processesEnsure traceability from strategic goals through requirements, design, and delivery
