Create & procure 3D CAD models of cloud products such as racks, servers, switches, sub-assemblies, and other components Understanding and demonstration of CAD, assembly processes, SI manufacturing, NPI development, BOM, validation, labeling, measurement, and documentation on requirements Utilize 3D modeling tools to optimize internal and external cabling Communicate requirements for BOM, cabling, assembly, and report potential challenges to internal/external teams Work with MFG to understand current assembly process for alignment with 3D CAD modeling Good knowledge of Excel and VBA programming in Excel or CAD Work with internal team to plan part transitionsProject Management experience Perform both sustaining and NPI BOM changes. Assist with transitioning BOM data from one format to another Create process documents for current work flows and identify opportunities for efficiency gains, and validation checks.Location: This role is based in Morrisville, NC.Basic Requirements Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline 3+ years CAD (in CREO), BOM/EC work experience in server and hardware developmentPreferred Qualifications Masters degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering is a plus Hyperscale/Cloud experience a plus Ability to write code to assist with your daily work activities or other teams work activities.
