Advanced Carolina Foot and Ankle Center is hiring for a full time office assistant position. Applicant must be upbeat and friendly, and able to work as a team member. We are looking for someone organized and able to multitask in a fast paced, busy podiatric clinic.
Functions:
Manage incoming calls and handling basic administrative tasks
Verify Insurance, Copays, and/or Deductibles
Obtain Prior Authorizations and Process Referrals
Schedule Patient Appointments and Diagnostic Testing
Maintain Patient Records, as well as Accurate and Efficient Data Entry into EMR System
Work as a Team to Ensure Smooth and Efficient Clinic Operation
Maintain the General Appearance of the Office and Maintain a Welcoming Demeanor
Perform Other Duties as Assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
Medical Office Experienced Preferred
Basic Computer Skills: Windows, Microsoft Office and Excel, Data Entry
Attention to Detail and Accuracy
Knowledge of Front and Back Office is Preferred
Experience with EMR Systems is a PLUS
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is Preferred
