Wilmington Downtown, Inc. is seeking a part‐time employee to assist business and property owners to access programs, services and activities within Downtown Municipal Service District (MSD). Responsibilities include communicating with merchants, local residents and out-of-town visitors, monitoring and reporting cleanliness and safety services issues, distributing information and project management.

Candidate must have outstanding interpersonal skills with an extraverted personality. Strong verbal communication ability is a must. Existing knowledge of Downtown businesses, events, venues and attractions is required. The candidate must also have a track record demonstrating courteous, efficient and professional customer service.

Experience in hospitality, customer relations, retail, marketing and promotions. Marketing, planning, public relations or other equivalent degree is preferred. Previous non-profit work a plus.

General work schedule is 25 hours per week from 2:00pm to 7:00 pm. Pay rate is $10 to $12 per hour with parking provided.
