Manages and maintains third-party databases. Assists with scoping projects, handling RFPs, and controlling contractor services costs. Manages contractors to include performance, quality, and budget. Performs quality control or quality assurance functions. Manages multiple projects simultaneously. Delivers training and tailgates. Knowledge of regulatory code and will participate in regulatory audits and support compliance issues. Prepares correspondence to address regulatory issues. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for operational and compliance issues. Assists in monitoring and auditing data related to operational and compliance activities. Interfaces with Information Technology as needed. May test and evaluate new technology and specialized equipment. Applies knowledge and technical skills to provide operational project management, design and procurement of materials, and direction to craft and contractors. Performs evaluations, calculations, analysis, and design to support the operational and regulatory compliance requirements for Transmission, Storage, Distribution, and Gathering Pipeline Systems. Provides support, direction and advice in analyzing and evaluating pipeline systems, equipment, and programs. Develop new programs needed for operational and/or regulatory compliance activities. Helps provide project management including scoping, scheduling, budget development, cost tracking, and operational oversight. Utilizes computer technology in analysis of operating performance data to verify pipeline systems are operated and maintained as required by company policies and procedures and regulatory agencies. Performs evaluations of events and root cause analysis to recommend corrective action as needed. Analyzes pipeline operations performance. Knowledge of related applications and databases. Strong computer skills. Ability to perform data analysis. Ability to diagnose and offer guidance on specialized programs. Conceptual thinking and reasoning abilities. Competency in logical and analytical thinking. Ability to collect accurate data, analyze problems, and develop solutions. Experience in the adaptation to and the application of rapidly-changing technology. Concern for quality, high standards, teamwork, and safety. Knowledge of operation, maintenance and standard operating procedures and regulatory code. Knowledge of industry codes, government regulations and company policy and practices. Equally effective working independently or in a team environment. Strong oral and written communication skills, including skill in business and technical writing. Knowledge in the operation and application of personal computers, handheld devices, and software programs. Organization and project management skills. Skilled in evaluation techniques. Ability to perform root cause analysis to determine the most probable cause of problems and undesired events. Analytical and abstract thinking problem solving skills. Ability to process information quickly.
