Description We are inviting a proficient Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the manufacturing industry. Based in CINCINNATI, Ohio, this role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be instrumental in handling customer accounts, processing customer credit applications, and maintaining accurate customer records. Your role will also entail resolving customer inquiries and taking necessary actions.Responsibilities: Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications Maintain and manage precise records related to customer credit Conduct account reconciliations and monitor customer accounts regularly Handle customer inquiries and provide timely resolutions Execute check runs as part of financial operations Code invoices accurately to ensure proper account allocation Conduct data entry tasks related to accounts payable Process invoices with efficiency and accuracy Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar capacity within the manufacturing industry Proficiency in account reconciliation and invoice processing Experience with accounts payable (AP) and check runs Familiarity with coding invoices Strong data entry skills and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
