ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the Catering Sales Department needs such as:

Manages Smaller Events: internal, concessions-only, affiliate and exhibitor orders

Daily Distribution: Manage the daily distribution process of BEOs

Process Payments: Processing of payment for deposits and final payments

Event History: Researching event history for accurate forecasting

Competitive Analysis: Research and create a competitive analysis for catering sales annual report

Weekly Forecast Update: Works in EBMS to update weekly forecast

Effectively supervise the activities of the Case Western University and LAZ Parking maintenance staff to ensure maximum productivity and compliance with the parking maintenance contract specifications. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Supervise the activities of the parking partner/vendor maintenance staff to ensure maximum productivity and compliance with the parking maintenance contract specifications. (15%) Maintenance of lights in all lots and parking structures, changing bulbs and ballasts while conducting lighting and door surveys to ensure timely maintenance. (10%) Pressure wash and power sweep parking surfaces, clean catch basins, line stripe, stencil work, and painting guard rails and curbs. (10%) Repair and maintain parking surfaces and signs including asphalt and concrete surfaces. (10%) Maintain and repair mechanical gate arms, gate boxes, doors, and locks to prevent malfunctions. (10%) Order/make and install/remove special event signs, and open/close lots to accommodate special events. (10%) Respond to emergency situations such as, but not limited to snow removal, floods, gasoline/oil spills, tripping hazards, broken glass, and dead animals. QUALIFICATIONS Experience: 5 years of parking maintenance experience, contract coordination and general maintenance experience. Education: High school education REQUIRED SKILLS Must have, or be prepared, to receive basic AHERA safety training. Experienced in properly using basic hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment. Valid Ohio drivers license, free from significant violations. Ability to be contacted by telephone and respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week within a half hour of the emergency arising. Ability to frequently lift up to 100 pounds. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as, but not limited to, street sweeper, tractor, bobcat, snowplow. Customer service oriented with regard to all faculty, students, other staff, and visitors of the university. Work well independently or as a team.
