In this position you will be responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. You will develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems. You will ensure that quality in being maintained in all factors involved in production. You will be accountable for building up the functional excellence to support business objectives.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide clear leadership across the site to develop an environment focused on Quality

Mentorship and develop a team, setting priorities, establishing goals, and action plans

Develop strategies from a quality standpoint to improve production processes

Manage and maintain ISO-9001 Certified Quality System and site QMS

Monitor and improve KPI’s to ensure effectiveness and efficiency

Manage multi-functional teams collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the Quality strategy

Ensure current procedures, standards, and specifications are up to date, to meet customer requirements

Manage and carry-on Internal/ External Audits program

Lead CAPA’s to ensure effectiveness though main quality focused tools such as 8D’s, fishbone, DMAIC, 5 Why’s, etc.

Responsible for maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers to maximize communication and ensure site profit

Manage control of nonconforming material process

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum 5 years of experience in the following areas:

Ability to meet quality standards ISO 9001

Manufacturing/Assembly Operations

Quality principles, RCCA’s, control plan, etc.

Minimum 3 years of exposure on PFMEA, APQP & PPAP

Bachelor's Degree

Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing certification

NFPA stds. knowledge

Mentor junior members or peers

Strong project management skills

Ability to motivate team to achieve business objectives

Ability to lead, drive change, and influence others

Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills to address quality issues

Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities
