Bend Brewing Co. is looking for a Kitchen Manager/Chef for our iconic downtown Bend location. We are a high volume establishment and are looking for a professional leader with experience in the industry. A real opportunity for the right fit.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement menus and recipes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance management
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
- Monitor food costs and work to minimize waste
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team
- Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and food safety protocols
- Willingness to help out in various areas of the kitchen as needed
- Proficient in team management, including training, coaching, and motivating staff
- Strong background in food service, culinary arts, or related field
- Knowledge of food service management principles and practices
- Ability to cook and prepare a variety of dishes
- Ability to have a flexible schedule based on the restaurants needs for success
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000 - $85,000.00 per year
