Village Threads, a women's clothing boutique, in Sunriver has a new opening on our team!! We are a locally owned boutique that is growing and hiring for a year-round Merchandising and Ops Manager. We are looking for just the right person who is not only trendy and has a keen sense for fashion and client relations but who also has had previous supervisor/manager experience.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain the overall visuals of the store. One of your main roles is merchandising. Your job will be to oversee and execute the weekly remerchandising of the store. Product placement and the overall flow of our refined store plays a key role to our success and you would spearhead this. All related store visuals will fall into this job description.

• Monitoring product sales to identify the needs for markdowns and maintaining a markdown system.

• Weekly communication related to product needs and low inventory

• Ability to take on Store Manager tasks when needed

• Main go to person on the floor for questions related to receiving freight and product prep

• Monthly completion of the supply list

• Hard working and loyal with a positive attitude who leads a team by example. Has a genuine passion for the customer service industry and enjoys client engagement and relationship building

• Strong ability to sell and goal driven

• Opening and closing store procedures

Skills Summary:

• Previous experience related to supervising/management with a customer service aspect. Prior clothing retail experience would be great but not necessary. Ideally, we are looking for a strong leader who is willing to be trained to our retail culture.

• Enjoys connecting with customers and demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude

• Demonstrates knowledge of store product to help customers make purchases

• Basic computer and POS system skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and management

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend and holiday availability

Salary: Competitive industry wage for similar positions DOE / Hourly / Full time year round
