Are you an experienced carpenter with a passion for a balance of creative projects and efficient production? Tru Form Tiny builds Tiny houses on wheels and ships them throughout the country. We have a “customized” line and a production line. We are looking for skilled carpenters for our tiny house production warehouse. The Carpenter will work with a skilled team as well as self-perform a broad range of rough and finish carpentry tasks. We work indoors, year round, in a production environment.
The opening is a skilled position and requires experience in phases of residential or commercial construction. Top candidates will have a strong attention to detail, a professional demeanor, great communication skills, and the willingness to work as part of a collaborative design and build team. All applicants must be able to jump into the construction process with minimal instruction. Training about our process, our tolerances and our expectations will be done through an “on-the-job” pairing with other carpenters.

Minimum Requirements:
Most important: a positive attitude with teamwork skills
Top candidates have 5 years of solid, verifiable construction (finish, framing, siding, casework, etc.)
Be familiar with and able to contribute to workflow in a production environment
Be timely, organized and meet and beat deadlines
Be deadline driven and brisk at your work
Prioritize shop OSHA safety standards and prioritize safety in all operations
Maintain a professional demeanor
Be capable of obtaining forklift certification
High School diploma or equivalent
Have a personal tool set (tool belt with hand tools, cordless drill/driver and bits, and access to some specialized tools if needed)
Be able to work on your feet for 10 hr work days. Be able to lift up to 50#’s routinely during the day. Be able to routinely lift, twist, and bend while holding tools or material.
Job Duties Include:
Performing framing, trim, siding, flooring, casework, and punch list work
Coordination and execution of production as outlined by Operations
Interpreting plans, following specifications and executing work accordingly
Working safely and efficiently
Enforcing proper tool use and safety procedures
Solving production issues as they arise, consulting with supervisors when needed
Operation of sitting forklifts if needed
