Breakfast Chef in Boutique Hotel

Ashland Creek Inn, one of Ashland’s premier boutique hotels, is seeking a breakfast chef to prepare a served gourmet breakfast for up to 26 guests each morning. This position is for 5 days per week, Wednesday - Sunday. You will be responsible for creating a multi-course breakfast, with menu and recipe suggestions provided with initial guidance to create them. Ultimately, we want you to create your own style of breakfast, a true 5-star experience for our guests. You will be responsible for all prep, cooking, plating and full kitchen clean up each day. In addition, you are expected to deliver custom special plates for guests with dietary issues. This is a fast-paced environment. Creative and beautiful plating is critical. We are looking for someone who loves what they do and takes great pride in their craft.

This is a year-round position. However, during the low season months of January – March hours may vary. During April - November this job is typically 5+ hours a day, usually starting at 7am.

The ideal candidate will have a background in cooking in restaurants with either professional training or several years of experience. You must have a passion for pleasing people and producing fine cuisine. It’s necessary that you are able to handle stress, last-minute changes, and working well as part of a team.
