We require the services of an enthusiastic self-motivated individual to work in a company maintained self storage property. Applicant will have duties in basic cleaning, maintenance, landscaping, and repair work for interior and exterior of self storage property. Applicant will work under supervision of Onsite Resident Manager to coordinate daily with routine tasks for storage spaces, facility grounds as well as medium duty projects. Applicant will also coordinate with Onsite Resident Manager when scheduling vendors for major repairs.
Examples of service duty include but are not limited to:
Painting (small projects)
Landscaping (trimming bushes, tree branches, mowing lawns, pulling weeds – curb appeal)
Cleaning drive aisles (dust, spills, and debris)
Cleaning Storage Spaces (washing walls, floors, and scrubbing doors)
Building checks - cleaning/repairs (roofs, gutters, downspouts, walls, doors)
General customer service as needed
Covering basic office tasks on Manager’s day off (processing payments, answering calls, processing rentals)
Requirements
Ability to communicate in the English Language.
Ability to work independently.
Applicant should be healthy and able to lift 50 pounds or more.
Climb ladders and perform roof checks.
Basic knowledge of Computers and Email programs
Must be able to pass a Background check, drug test and DMV check
Preferred
Ability to multi-task
General knowledge of power tools and landscaping equipment.
An eye for seeing what needs to be done without being told.
