Rose Creative Preschool is currently hiring part time teachers and substitutes to join our play-based preschool. We located in the heart of the Hollywood neighborhood, with a wonderful small team of teachers in our two mixed aged classrooms of 3-5 year olds. We are open 8am-4pm Monday -Friday.
Part-time hours are available as well as substitute opportunities. Substitutes may have planned days at the school and can also be on call to fill in for teachers as needed. Substitute positions can often lead to full or part-time employment if employees are interested in more longevity at our school.
We value teachers who are warm, engaging, work well in teams, and have knowledge of play-based environments. We have an emergent curriculum, and believe in following the child's lead with our explorations in the classroom.
Teachers must be teacher qualified with at least one year teaching experience in and early childhood classroom. Substitutes and Teachers must have: Enrollment in the Central Background Registry, Food Handlers Certification, RRCAN, Health and Safety, Prevention is Better than Treatment, Foundations for Learning, and Infant and Child CPR/First Aid certifications.
