The Royal Owl Academy is seeking a:
Teacher Position 25+ hrs. per week!
$22.27 per hour (3 to 6 mo experience needed)
$23.00 per hour (with 6mo-1yr experience)
Royal Owl Academy is a state certified center base preschool/childcare. We are currently looking for a responsible, dependable, professional, mature, flexible, motivated, reliable and hardworking teacher to join our team. Position allows room to gain more hours with flexibility.
Daily Responsibilities:
-Greet children and parents
-Facilitate circle time activities and daily activity (depending on group)
-Take children on walks or outside for play
-Help children with their daily projects (depending on group)
-Help with diaper changes/potty training
-Keep children safe during all of our activities
-Help with (cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, taking out trash, etc.)
-Help with meal prep and serving
-Fill in when needed or when staff is sick
Must meet or be able to:
Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to
obtain within 30 days
Able to be on time for each scheduled shift for 90
days with no occurrences
Be at least 18 yrs of age
Ability to keep phone activity limited to down time
while still supervising children
Able to pass background check
Previous experience as an assistant or lead teacher (700 or more worked hours)
Ability to communicate well with children, staff and
parents
Sense of humor, positive attitude and fairness
Ability to work independent as well and be creative
Ability and willingness to perform any and all jobs
assigned
Ability and willingness to participate in 15 hours+ of
job related training annually
Ability to sit on floor or child sized chair, crouch and
stand for periods, occasionally lift 50 lbs
