DescriptionAccountemps has an outstanding opportunity for a short-term Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team at a premier company near downtown Portland! Serving as the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. You will have the opportunity to sharpen your AP skills in a fast-paced environment. Handle daily department mail and email by opening, sorting, and distributing it
Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed
Help with internal and external audits as required
Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners
Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Complete full-cycle A/P
Requirements
2+ years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience
Experience and knowledge of ERP systems
Intermediate skills with MS Excel
Strong ability to communicate with vendors and colleagues
