Creates work schedules, assists with program development and assures appropriate coverage and compliance at all times. within 30 days of hire: THW Certification in the state of Oregon as a peer in one of the following:
PSS: Peer Support Specialist - Adult Mental Health, Adult Addiction, Family Support, Youth Support
PWS: Peer Wellness Specialist - Adult Mental Health, Adult Addiction, Family Support, Youth Support.
upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
upon hire: In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check may be required for this position based upon the location of the position.
within 30 days of hire: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider
within 30 days of hire: Recovery Mentor Certification.
3 years Related experience including at least 1 year peer support services and 1 year working with people with substance abuse disorder.
1 year Demonstrated progressive leadership experience.
Preferred qualifications:
within 60 days of hire: CADC I (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor).
Experience working with patients with chronic, acute and contingent crisis.
Knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatment.
