As we continue to scale, we're seeking an experienced SRE Manager to lead our Site Reliability Engineering team in the USA West region. Your day-to-day will be varied, working with our partners and customers ensuring their platform deployments are running optimally. New releases, maintenance, upgrades and incidents will fall under your purview, working across cloud environments to ensure our customers experience the best service possible.location: PORTLAND, Oregonjob type: Permanentsalary: $100,000 - 130,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:As the SRE Manager, your key responsibilities will include:Team Leadership:

Lead a team of SREs within the USA West region. Fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Partner with the Global SRE Lead and other SRE Managers and their teams to share best practices, learnings, and collaborate on global initiatives.

Partner with other teams in the Services Organization ensuring customer success.

Operational Excellence:

Drive operational efficiency through automation and best practices.

Use your technical expertise to guide incident and conduct post-incident reviews driving improvements.

Ensure the highest levels of service during deployment, maintenance and upgrade events.

Reliability Engineering:

Improve monitoring strategies, analyze metrics to proactively identify issues and optimize performance, ensuring our services meet high reliability standards.

Collaborate with the Hydrolix Engineering organization to feedback and design resilient systems.

Partners and Customers:

Be the escalation point for troubleshooting and resolve technical issues encountered across our customers, working closely with them via various channels such as Slack, Zendesk, Hangouts and Email

Work closely with Partners on capacity planning and services feedback.
