Our Center is looking for its next Medical Assistant to join our already stellar team.

REQUIREMENTS :
Current BLS certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical assisting diploma/certification is preferred
Experience working under a microscope is preferred
Experience working in the medical field is preferred
Hand-eye coordination and dexterity
Sitting and/or standing for long periods of time
Engaging in repetitive motions
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Appropriate vaccinations for healthcare workers
Submit to a drug screen and checking references prior to employment
Maintain patient confidentiality & comply with HIPAA related policies

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Assisting in surgical procedures
Preparing paperwork
Preoperative preparation of the patient for surgery (photographs, hair wash, reviewing instructions)
Instrument processing
Routine equipment maintenance
Restocking supplies
Inventory and ordering of supplies
Obtaining vital signs
Taking clinical photographs
General cleaning
Assisting the physician with patient care
Set-up and clean-up of the operating room and treatment areas
Preparing, counting and sorting hair grafts under microscopes
Performing pre- and postoperative patient hair washes
Surgical site preparation and care
Suture/staple removal
Educate patients on pre and post-procedure instructions and answer questions
Scheduling patient visits
Medical records
Maintaining and adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, Quad-A standards
Participate in required staff trainings and meetings
