We are seeking a sales representative to take over our B2B sales with a focus on maintaining and expanding our existing OLCC dispensary accounts across all of Oregon, but also other B2B opportunities nationwide. This position requires a true people person and will be the face of our brand, therefore interested parties should be relaxed, yet professional in a one-on-one sales setting. The sales representative will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from contact to packaging to delivery, so knowledge of Hemp/Cannabis regulations as well as the METRC tracking system is a huge plus. The sales associate is expected to be knowledgeable of not only our products and their effects but also CBD/hemp as a whole. This is a part time position that we currently utilize 3 days a week (Tues. - Thurs.) but schedules are adjustable while hour requirements may be more or less depending.
Simply Sol is a very grassroots, laid-back farm with a serious belief in medicine and plants of power, however, this position will be responsible for a sizable portion of our sales relationships. Therefore, we are seeking an individual who is both down to earth and trustworthy. Someone who already lives and understands sustainability and ethics is ideal.
This position has the potential to grow into a remote role as a marketing wizard, helping to maintain and populate our social media accounts, online ads, newsletter and blogs. We'd like to focus our initial efforts on training for the sales representative role, so this addition would be grown into as you, the individual, learns our brand and ethos more thoroughly.
Minimum Requirements:
- 21+ years of age
- Valid driver license and car insurance
- Maintained and Reliable Vehicle
- This job requires significant travel around all of Oregon, so a reliable vehicle is non negotiable. Somedays are 12 hours of driving.
- OLCC Marijuana Workers Permit
- 1+ years of B2B dispensary sales, preferably within Oregon or 2+ years cannabis industry sales or dispensary sales experience
- Open and friendly disposition
- Experience with excel spreadsheets
- General sales experience
Pluses but not required:
- Marketing experience
- Social Media Content Creation and Moderation experience
- METRC system understanding and experience
- writing skills
Compensation:
This is a commision based role with a mileage pay rate. There is the possibility of a base salary as well. Performance will be assessed regularly for many opportunities for compensation re-evaluation.
