Storage Facility Sales and Customer service representative

The following attributes for job success: experience in sales and customer service. With the ability to communicate effectively, ability to assess yourself, ability to work well under pressure, self-motivation and self-direction, ability to work with/without direct supervision and the ability to collaborate yet be independent.

Schedule for new hire: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday to start.

Office Hours: 9:30a.m. to 6:00p.m., Monday through Friday. 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m., Saturday and Sunday.

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for conversion of telephone inquiries to generate prospective Tenants visits to the property to lease; and walk-in prospects to leases, resulting in maintained and increased occupancy. Maintain customer base and referral program. Maintain a reasonable call to show a ratio.

Assist in maintaining the office clerical, overall facility and the customer base to the standard Sunset Mini Storage has established.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Respond effectively to telephone inquiries.

Effectively communicate with existing Tenants to establish a successful retention and referral program.

Dispatch and receive and schedule U-Haul reservations.

Conduct periodic market surveys and price analysis.

Marketing: ideas that help promote our presence and value in the local area.

Increase customer reviews to promote the name of Sunset.

Handle and maintain legal records/files/ contracts and reports.

Input daily activity and maintain a professional office setting.

Assist in promoting tenant relations; with fun idea’s and incentives.

Collections, rental payments, fees, security deposits, etc.

Maintain account records and journals and make bank deposits.

Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required.

Over see the office and property for overall management with team members.

Physical requirements: Must be able to perform the physical functions of the position, which may include, the ability to walk 5-acre property, must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to facilitate vacuuming, lifting supplies garage doors, and merchandise. Sweeping of hallways, Dispatching and cleaning inside U-Haul trucks. We do have a golf cart for light property maintenance, such as garbage pick-up and hallways sweeps. The position of a sales/manager includes all the duties of a storage facility.
