Tasting Room Associate
Paul O’Brien Winery in Roseburg, Oregon is in search of a dynamic individual that enjoys wearing many hats, has a great sense of humor and a passion for wine.
Position Summary
The Tasting Room Associate is a part-time position 12-24hrs/week . Tasting Room Associates are responsible for providing an exceptional visitor experience that drives customer loyalty. The right candidate will be sociable, good at selling, enjoy educating, telling a good story and love wine. Duties include but not limited to presenting our wines, communicating the winery story and message, stock inventory, set up/clean up, sales, calling customers, as well as providing customers with recommendations. Schedule will be 3-4days per week and may include weekends. There is potential for full time employment for the right person.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements
Prior tasting room experience a plus but not necessary
Hospitality and/or restaurant experience a plus
Passion for wine and food
Social and well dressed
Able to work weekends and evenings as needed
Able to lift 50# and stand for extended periods of time
Valid Driver’s License
Legal status to work in US
Pass a drug screening
