Express Employment Professionals is now hiring for an Administrative Assistant for a local nonprofit organization!ÂThe Administrative Assistant will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures, to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for welcoming clients, coordinating services, and streamlining administrative procedures.ÂThis is an evaluation to hire opportunity!
This position is perfect for an energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a busy nonprofit.Â
Some typical responsibilities include:Â
Administrative support: Answering incoming calls and greeting incoming visitors. This includes correspondence, customer service, ordering office supplies and inventory management, and a variety of other tasks.
Flexibility in tasks: Although there will be some routine tasks, every day has new objectives, obstacles, and troubleshooting. This employee needs to be flexible to take on a variety of responsibilities and be able to shift tasks quickly and efficiently while maintaining a positive outlook.
Office Administration: Responsible for coordinating office services by ensuring office operations and procedures are organized, correspondences are controlled, filing systems are designed and maintained, process donations, assign tasks to front-line staff, and assure all clerical functions are completed. Handle customer and community partner inquiries and feedback.

Experience/Skills Required:
Proven office management, administrative or assistance experience
Knowledge of office administration responsibilities, systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative assistance practices and procedures
Proficient in MS Office
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Schedule:ÂMonday- Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
Pay:Â$17-$20/ Depending on experience
