Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Allentown, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will support purchasing and accounts payable tasks, ensure accuracy in customer accounts, and handle customer inquiries. It is a long-term contract employment opportunity in the industry.Responsibilities: Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing customer credit applications. Maintaining precise records of customer credit. Resolving any customer inquiries promptly and professionally. Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions as required. Supporting Purchasing Activities and handling of invoices. Utilizing the ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning system for various accounting functions. Managing Account Coding and Accounts Payable (AP) tasks. Conducting transactions through Automated Clearing House (ACH). Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding is mandatory for the role. Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required. Strong knowledge of Accounting Functions is essential. Prior work with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary. Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is vital. Background in Purchasing Activities is key for the role.
