Job DescriptionResponsible for driving and supporting Bethlehem teams with strategies and execution to continuously improve processes, efficiency and implement advanced technologies and solutions, in order to further strengthen our business and competitiveness.The areas of responsibilities are project management for internal process improvement as well as management of customer engineered to order projects.

Creates and maintains project charters and scopes

Conducts standup meetings with frequent communication for internal partners and external vendors

Creates work packages from larger projects.

Responsible for risk management and reducing impacts of delays by implementing contingency plans

Responsible for variation development, project objectives and project resource coordination

Track and report cost and timing on internal projects and/or related investments

Plan budget and human resource requirements

Conduct design/milestone gate reviews (internal and with the customer)

Create project RASIC and team organizational charts

Cost management, including tracking and participation in related investments

Coordinate Quality Management analyses including process capability and reliability studies

Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

Perform other essential and duties as may be necessary

Adherence to the Bosch Rexroth Quality Management System and the Environmental Policy in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001

Perform other essential and related peripheral duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

Min. four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or related field from an accredited institution (ex. CHEA) with experience in a technical field or manufacturing operations environment

Ability to take initiative, set strategic priorities, take ownership and leadership of assigned projects and independently drive for results according to plan.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy and knowledge of analytical problem solving techniques such as 8D, Shainin, Six Sigma or similar

Team oriented and maintaining strong relationship with cross-functional teams while creating flexible and organized environment

Proven record of leading projects and/or teams

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously

Ability to simplify complex problems to basic elements

Personal computer knowledge: Microsoft Office, etc.
