This includes assisting customers with budget planning, providing reports and projections to monitor spending, and reviewing budget plans and expenditure requests to ensure funding spent is related to meeting the organization's mission as economically as possible. Take the next step in your career and apply today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Fiscal Management Specialist 2, you will be primarily responsible for preparing various interagency billings on a timely basis and submitting them to the Comptroller's Office for payment. You will prepare reports for management regarding availability of Treasury funds and ensure the appropriation does not run out of available funds while processing or collecting augmenting revenue. This professional assembles fiscal data for use in budgetary evaluations and budget hearings and maintains files of budgetary information. You will also obtain details and support documentation for budgetary needs and utilize such information to prepare and assemble budget, rebudget, and budget hearing packages for submission.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, with occasional in-office days when work dictates such requirements. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 1; or
One year of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
