OVERVIEW OF POSITION:Community Academy seeks a highly organized and professional Administrative Assistant to support the office of Administration. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, and excel at multitasking in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth administrative operations and effective communication within the organization.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Managing administration calendar, scheduling meetings and coordinating travel arrangements
Taking detailed minutes during meetings
Complete administrative tasks such as filing, creating folders and shredding documents
Assist in the daily operations of the school store, including inventory management, product organization, online order fulfillment and cash register operations
Receive shipments and coordinate internal order pickups
Support of general administrative and clerical assignments including filing, shredding, and alphabetizing documents
Assist with orientation, new hire paperwork and training setup
Communication:
Interact professionally with students, parents, personnel, and contractors/vendors
Process, receive, and distribute order requests efficiently
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree preferred
A minimum of 2 years of related work experience in general office support
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize task effectively
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
