The Art Supervisor is responsible for leading the creative work that is produced on of Razorfish Health’s longest accounts.Responsibilities

Partner with Scientific Directors to create dynamic, persuasive, and highly credible medical communications

Build immersive, engaging presentations and live experiences

Take on appropriate projects and own them, start to finish

Manage and work independently, under tight deadlines, while juggling multiple projects

Participate in client meetings and presentations

Attend market research and advisory boards as appropriate

Delegate to and supervise the work of staff and freelance designers/copywriters assigned to the brand

Manage workloads to maximize productivity of the creative team, ensuring that everyone is busy and billable

Work closely with scientific, account, PM, studio, and editorial to ensure that deadlines and budgets are met

Provide written and face-to-face feedback for annual performance reviews, as well as ongoing feedback throughout the year (written when requested)

Interview prospective art candidates

Demonstrate to internal and external customers that you understand their products and marketing challenges and are responsive to the strategic and creative needs of the brand

Represent the agency at client meetings and social events as appropriate

Reports to: Associate Creative DirectorQualifications

5-7 years Medical Communications or other Medical Marketing experience

BA degree (Advertising, Communications, Fine Arts or Scientific related field preferred)

Proficiency in Macintosh hardware, CS6, Illustrator, Photoshop, and presentation software (eg, Powerpoint, Keynote, Prezi)

A proven track record of creative ability and judgment, successful client contact experience, the ability to work collaboratively with account management, excellent presentation skills, successful experience in managing others, availability to travel and the commitment to go the extra mile in time and effort to produce the very best work

Prepare and serve meals as needed. Consistently adhere to operational and safety policies and procedures. Maintain an understanding of MSDS and properly use and maintain chemicals utilized within the kitchen. Maintain confidentiality of client, patient, and/or student information. Properly escalate client, patient, or student concerns to management. Consistently follow the approved company uniform standards, as well as health and grooming standards. Participate in and complete in-service training, safety training, and all other training programs assigned. All other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications and Competencies: High school graduate or equivalent. Must be proficient in recipe procedure, cooking techniques. Ability to speak and read English in order to understand and perform job assignments. Extensive physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting up to 40lbs, bending, pushing, and pulling. Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment. Minimum of 1 year prior experience in food service supervisor role preferred. Must be Serv Safe certified or willing to obtain certification within 90-days of entering position. Must have a basic knowledge of food service sanitation and proper food handling skills. Must submit to and pass all required background checks and pre-employment testing. Always present a positive and professional image. Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to assess the workflow of the kitchen and make adjustments as needed. Ability to delegate tasks to associates and verify completion. Ability to evaluate the performance of associates, identify areas of improvement, and provide guidance on corrective actions. Must possess and display leadership and team management skills. Must possess and display a positive attitude as well as the ability to motivate others. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with deadlines. Must possess strong organizational skills.
